A follow-up study was conducted in early 2010. The results from this study will be published in 2010/2011. 2 Although not an EU member, Norway is part of the single market through the European Economic Area (EEA) agreement. 3 While transitional restrictions in most old member states prolonged pre-accession restrictions based on quotas or labour market demands testing, Norway and Denmark introduced new transitional wage requirements for individual labour migrants from A8 countries.
