About Elinor

Elinor Bazar is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and her new private practice can be found at neuralive.ca, representing her determination to share the transformational benefits of neurofeedback with more and more people in Victoria and beyond.  She also offers counselling for children and adults ages 10 and up at her new location at 2035 Oak Bay Ave.

Elinor brings 15 years of personal and professional development to her practice from a variety of fields — in alternative education, play therapy, psychology, religious studies, expressive arts, permaculture, nonprofit management, and body-based therapeutics such as cranial sacral therapy, somatic experiencing, yoga, and meditation.

Prior to starting her growing practice, Elinor was a teacher in U.S. inner city schools and in Thailand where she helped to start an alternative school for orphaned and unidentified Burmese refugee children.  While in Victoria she has spearheaded group programs for children with special needs and girls with anxiety on Mary’s Farm & Sanctuary in Langford, BC, and has also added neurofeedback to her practice, a powerful technology for rewiring the brain to optimize function and flexibility.
